Who We Are

Our Savior’s Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). We’re part of a 4.2 million member church with 65 Synods (geographical areas) that covers all of the United States and the Caribbean.  You can check out the ELCA at www.elca.org.

Our geographical area (Synod) covers Kansas and Missouri, and is called the Central States Synod. All the information about that can be found at www.css-elca.org.

The ELCA is a part of the Lutheran World Federation.  The Lutheran World Federation (LWF) is a global communion of Christian churches in the Lutheran tradition. Founded in 1947 in Lund, Sweden, the LWF now has 140 member churches in 78 countries all over the world representing nearly 66 million Christians.

We are currently in the transition process of seeking a new pastor to lead us into the future.  This process is being facilitated by Rev. Russ Creydt, Intentional Interim Pastor. It is an exciting time at Our Savior’s and we invite you to journey forward with us as we rediscover what Christ’s call is to us.
